CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial software and technology, announced today that Jarrett Puckett, vice president of customer experience at CSI, was elected as the new president of the Association for Financial Technology (“AFT”)—an organization that enables collaboration and knowledge-sharing to help member companies stay ahead of industry challenges and shape the future of financial services. Elected at the 2024 Fall Summit, Puckett will serve a one-year term.

Puckett has been a dedicated AFT board member—previously serving as treasurer before being elected president—and will serve an additional year as immediate past president. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to the organization position him well to lead AFT into the future.

“Being elected as the new AFT president is a tremendous honor,” said Puckett. “Since the day I joined CSI, the leadership team has emphasized the value of AFT, and as I learned more, I knew this was something I wanted to be part of. AFT is more than a platform for learning and collaboration; it’s an organization where competitors can come together to drive innovation and elevate the financial technology landscape.”

As the president of AFT, Puckett will lead the organization into its next chapter, focusing on innovation, supporting members and driving continuous growth, all while staying true to the traditions that AFT was built upon.

“At CSI, we encourage our team to join AFT because of the unparalleled learning and leadership experience the organization offers," said David Culbertson, president and CEO of CSI. "We are proud to have another team member step into the president role and are confident that Jarrett will positively impact the AFT community while upholding its values and traditions.”

CSI has been a foundational and active member of AFT since its inception in 1972. Over the years, eight past presidents of AFT have hailed from CSI, including:

  • David Culbertson, president and CEO
  • Steve Powless, former CEO and board member
  • Bob Ezell, chief customer experience officer
  • John Williams, founder and chairman, as well as founder and first president of AFT
