Hitachi America, Ltd. (“Hitachi America”) announced the appointment of Arya Barirani as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Barirani will maintain his current role as CMO of Hitachi Digital, bridging the company’s rapid rise in digital solutions with its growing presence in North America while reinforcing commitment to social innovation.

As CMO, Barirani will now lead the Branding and Corporate Communication Group for the Americas, Hitachi’s fastest-growing region, and will also continue to oversee brand management, messaging, and marketing for the entire Hitachi Digital portfolio. He brings nearly 30 years of industry experience, having led marketing teams at global technology brands including Hewlett Packard, Symantec, Infoblox, Veritas, and more. Arya previously served as CMO at Hitachi’s GlobalLogic business, where he played a key role in helping GlobalLogic attain breakthrough growth and a leadership position in the Digital Engineering category.

Hitachi America has established a formidable presence across the Americas, spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central and South America. The company is strategically positioned to capitalize on the region's expanding opportunities with transformative solutions in energy, mobility, industrial automation, and digital transformation. These solutions are delivered through Hitachi group companies that specialize in Information Technology (IT), Operating Technology (OT), and connected products.

"I am pleased to welcome Arya into this critical new role at Hitachi America," said Jun Taniguchi, President and CEO of Hitachi America. "As Hitachi continues to expand our presence across the Americas, with digital innovation at the core of our strategy, Arya's extensive global marketing expertise and his rich background in the tech sector will be invaluable to drive our brand advancement and underscore Hitachi's commitment to delivering cutting-edge, sustainable solutions to our clients."

"The Americas region is a key driver for Hitachi’s continued growth and success, and we are uniquely positioned to lead in today's most relevant market segments," stated CMO Arya Barirani. "Hitachi's story is one of innovation and social impact, and I am thrilled to join the team in sharing this narrative with our clients, employees, and stakeholders.”

Arya’s new role and the organizational changes made earlier this year underscore Hitachi America’s strong commitment to driving social innovation through digital solutions, green energy and mobility, and connected products. The company’s longstanding expertise in industrial and technology sectors, combined with its strategic vision, uniquely positions it to help customers navigate the rapidly evolving market landscape and capitalize on emerging growth opportunities across industries. By prioritizing sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, Hitachi America aims to address the world's most pressing challenges and be a trusted partner to those who share this goal.
