Sevco Security, the industry’s leading platform for asset intelligence and exposure management, today announced the strategic addition of two prominent leaders to its executive team. Ken Shelton, former VP of Engineering at Qualys and VP of Engineering at Randori (an IBM company), joins Sevco as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and Aaron Griffin, a seasoned cloud-native SIEM architect, has been promoted to Chief Architect. These key appointments underscore Sevco's commitment to driving innovation in vulnerability management by providing customers a comprehensive exposure management platform built upon Sevco’s patented asset intelligence and holistic view of an organization’s asset inventory.

In his role as CTO, Ken Shelton will leverage his extensive experience in vulnerability management and security engineering to expand Sevco’s capabilities as a robust exposure management platform. His leadership will accelerate Sevco’s efforts to move the market beyond siloed vulnerability assessment tools toward comprehensive, integrated vulnerability and exposure management solutions. Ken started his career in the offensive operations space, founded his own startup and has served in Engineering leadership roles at Qualys, Randori and IBM.

Aaron Griffin takes on the role of Chief Architect with his deep expertise as a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) architect. Having built his career in designing and implementing advanced SIEM solutions, Griffin will play a pivotal role in the continued evolution of Sevco’s architecture. He will ensure that the architecture remains scalable and effective while addressing the increasingly complex threat landscape. Aaron has served in senior engineering team roles at JASK, Sumo Logic and Devo and previously worked at Splunk.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ken Shelton and promote Aaron Griffin to key positions within Sevco Security,” said J.J. Guy, CEO & co-founder of Sevco Security. “Ken’s proven leadership in vulnerability management aligns perfectly with our mission to modernize exposure management beyond the siloed approaches of legacy vulnerability management tools. Meanwhile, Aaron’s expertise in building high volume, scalable data pipelines, ensures we continue to build a platform that not only identifies vulnerabilities but transforms how security teams manage and remediate them.”

As attack surfaces grow more complex and attackers more sophisticated, the changes to Sevco’s team with Shelton and Griffin help Sevco continue to build capabilities that address the needs of customers for a comprehensive exposure management platform that aggregates data from across their entire security stack, enriches it with the industry's best exploit intelligence, and tells them which vulnerabilities they should work on – in what order – to drive better security outcomes.

Both Shelton and Griffin are integral to Sevco’s growth and innovation as the company continues to redefine the future of asset intelligence and exposure management.
