Weights & Biases recognized as Generative AI Tools Partner of the Year finalist, one of many AWS Partners around the globe that help their customers drive innovation
Weights & Biases Named a 2024 Geo and Global AWS Partner Award Finalist
Weights & Biases, the AI developer platform, today announced it is a finalist for a 2024 Geography and Global AWS Partner Award, recognizing leaders around the globe that are playing key roles in helping their customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards recognize a wide range of AWS Partners that have embraced specialization, innovation, and cooperation over the past year. Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards recognize partners whose business models continue to evolve and thrive on AWS as they support their customers. Weights & Biases provides AI developers with the tools they need to develop generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) with confidence. Weights & Biases is designed to overcome the barriers of traditional software development tools to meet the needs of non-deterministic AI applications. Additionally, the platform is framework- and LLM-agnostic so users don’t need to write any code to work with popular AI frameworks and LLMs.
“As a company focused on building the best tools for AI, we’re proud to be recognized by AWS for our commitment to driving the development and adoption of generative AI applications,” said Seann Gardiner, VP, Business Development at Weights & Biases. “We leverage the power of AWS to help our customers evaluate, monitor, and iterate on their AI models to drive innovation and change.”
"We require significant GPU compute capacity for our company. First, we need GPU capacity to support image generation on the Leonardo.AI site, and second we need GPUs for model training," said Dr. Martin Bell, Generative AI Researcher / Engineer at Leonardo AI. "AWS allows us to scale compute very quickly and effectively as the company has grown and as demand has grown on the site. Combining that with Weights & Biases allows us to train models effectively at speed and interact with the training workflows to better understand model training and improve it. We can stop a training job if it's not progressing the way we want it to, or we can zoom in and dial in the exact training settings to get really performant results quickly."
The Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across several award categories, awarded at both the geographic and global level. All AWS Partners were invited to participate and submit a nomination. Award submissions were reviewed by a third-party, Canalys, and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases.
In addition, there were several data-driven award categories, which were evaluated by a unique set of metrics that helped measure AWS Partners’ performance over the past year. Canalys audited the datasets used to ensure that all measurements and calculations were objective and accurate. Finalists represented the top three ranked AWS Partners across each category.
The AWS Partner Network (APN) is a global program focused on helping partners innovate, accelerate their journey to the cloud, and take full advantage of the breadth and depth of AWS.
